Washington, DC
Same-day junk removal in Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill is historic rowhouses on permit-parking blocks with English basements — a two-entrance building where the basement job and the main-house job are different carries.
What makes Capitol Hill different
Access is what actually moves the price. These are the things we plan around on this specific set of blocks.
Capitol Hill specifics
- Residential permit parking is strictly enforced; the truck stages where it is legal, which can be a block away.
- English basement units have their own below-grade entrance that avoids the main stair entirely.
- Historic-district rear alleys are narrow and often gated with resident-only access.
Access notes
- Below-grade English basement entrances are the fastest exit when they exist.
- Permit blocks: carry distance from a legal space is priced in.
- Original plaster and newel posts get padded before the carry.

Why city bulk trash usually will not solve it in Capitol Hill
DC bulk collection requires a scheduled appointment and excludes buildings of four or more units — which covers most subdivided Hill rowhouses.
Check the municipal program first
If you have one or two items and can get them to the curb yourself, the municipal program is cheaper than we are and we will tell you so.

Capitol Hill loads go to Fort Totten Transfer Station, roughly 20 minutes from here. Weight tickets from the transfer station go on your job record.

Not every job is a truckload. One mattress, one fridge or one couch is a real load size with its own starting price.
